DOUBLE DRAGON: New Song Posted Online
June 13, 2008Adelaide, Australia's DOUBLE DRAGON has posted a new song, "Black Sails Of Armageddon", on its MySpace page. The track comes off the group's new album, "Devastator", which is due in July via Truth Inc Records.
"Devastator" was recorded in Adelaide, Australia with producer Ian "E-dog" Miller, and is the long-awaited follow-up to DOUBLE DRAGON's debut EP, "Scars Of Fire".
According to DOUBLE DRAGON guitarist Matthew "Roady" Johnstone, "Devastator" will showcase the full arsenal of DOUBLE DRAGON, featuring "lots of twin guitar attack, vicious, thought-inducing lyrics, wailing solos and huge slabs of melody." "Devastator" also includes the track "Breathing Fire" with guest vocals from Brisbane singer-songwriter Emma Dean, the ex-back-up singer for ARIA Award winner Kate Miller Heidke.

DOUBLE DRAGON's debut EP, "Scars Of Fire", came out in 2006, and was supported by headlining shows across Australia and support slots with SLAYER, MASTODON, SOILWORK, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, ARCH ENEMY and DARK TRANQUILLITY, and also landed them a spot on the mother of all Australian music festivals, Big Day Out.
